We carried out clean-up activities in the walking trail along the Meguro River for environmental beautification and ecosystem integrity. 6 members cleaned both sides of the river from Onaribashi to Gotanda for 1.5 hours, and collected 3 bags of garbage.

In the form of joining clean-up activities hosted by Mishima, Toshiba Tec as a local company participated in the volunteer environmental improvement and clean-up activities in the Rakujuen Park as part of the "Garden City Mishima Promotion Project, " which is implemented by Mishima, to raise awareness of the environment.
We planted seedlings in planters, weeded around the Kohamagaike pond and collected fallen leaves in the Rakujuen Park.

When throwing away empty cans in the trash can next to the vending machine in the office, we collect the pull tabs separately and donate them to welfare facilities at the end of each half period.This donation was scheduled for the endo of May, and such information was provided to employees through news to collect a lot of pull tabs that might be thrown away at home.
As a result, 12 kg of approx. 30,000 pull tabs were collected from all the sites.

Employees and children from local schools will plant native flowers to provide a habitat for the declining Monarch Butterfly and Honey Bee populations.
The butterfly garden will be approx. one acre in size on the North side of the TPD facility. This was a joint project with the local Chapter of Pheasants Forever.

This program includes environmental disclosure, such as the importance of green environment and impact of water pollution, to employees' children.
