Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (Guadalajara / Mexico)

  • Theme:Resources
  • Date:May 16
  • Participants:29

The forest is comprised of 36.5 acres with potential to work in sustainable water resources, promote ecosystem conservation and biodiversity. Even though this forest is declared a protected area it is not without pollution caused by some neighbors and illegal dumping.
One of the main problems facing the forest is burning, creating the need for reforestation in times of rain. The roots of burned trees can be checked to see if they can be rescued by application of compost and drip hydration techniques.
The first visit to the forest was to know its features and to educate and create awareness in the community about the problems caused by its loss. This includes: climate change, loss of animal species, loss of rivers and springs. In the weeks after May 16th, the TGCS Mexico community is helping in watering trees and the planting campaign when rainy season starts.

Audits were reduced to 3 days a week.
  3. Taking advantage of a control to track printer usage, we came up with “Top Ten User List”.
