Procurement Policy

We procure material worldwide based on the following policy.

1. Procure materials from the most competitive supplier after evaluation of the overall advantages obtained, i.e. price, quality and delivery lead time involved, as well as stable supply.
2. Seek proper suppliers without having any preconceived idea and any geographical barrier.
3. Avoid dependency on a single supplier by diversifying procurement sources whenever possible. Give new vendors a chance to supply products.
4. Eliminate middlemen as much as possible to establish a channel of accurate and quick communication and reduce expenses.
5. Establish and develop a mutually beneficial long-term relationship with every supplier.
6. TOSHIBA TEC recognizes that it has an important role in contributing to society as a good corporate citizen and therefore, it takes into consideration natural resources and the protection of the environment when procuring material worldwide.
